We insist that health and nutrition knowledge be open and available to all, not just to the privileged few. We will regularly publish on our blog, and offer free/affordable spaces where bipolar women can come together and heal.

We say NO to patriarchal standards of beauty and will not stop fighting until all human beings feel free and empowered in their relationship to food and health.

We thrive in community.  Bipolar Alchemy Coaching will make every effort to create norms that cultivate supportive, inclusive communities of members so that we all achieve our health and personal goals.

 Anti Racist Pledge:

Bipolar Alchemy Coaching commits to writing and acting in ways that promote racial equity in society.

  1.  We will consistently call out white supremacy and the role of racism in the wellness industry and society in general.  We commit to promoting racial justice in circles, coaching sessions, and in general publications.

  2. We commit to educating ourselves continually about white supremacy and how to be the best anti-racists we can be.  We will engage in trainings by black, indigenous, and latinx educators/activists, and read books by anti-racist authors.  We will be open to feedback and criticism, apologize for any hurt caused, and commit to doing better.

  3. We commit to honoring conflict and allowing discomfort in our organization.  We will allow space for community members to voice conflicts and honor their story.  We will continually listen to concerns voiced by community members and take action to honor their needs.  If harm is caused, we will take responsibility and respond in loving, culturally responsive ways to repair wrongdoing.

  4. We commit to hiring black and indigenous staff, and purchasing and promoting black and indigenous books and products.  10% of our profits will be donated to the following organizations:  Black Mamas Alliance, the Native Wellness Institute, and The Black Women’s Health Alliance.

Land acknowledgement:

We are in eternal gratitude to the land for her gifts of water, air, nourishment, medicine, and so much more. We acknowledge that this organization was created on land stolen from the Tequesta, Calusa, and Mayaimi tribes in the city currently known as Miami, Florida.
